How to send a pedigree or a laboratory result, and who compiles this directory
The material on this page is drawn from the Global Cat Health Survey 2026, which is where its sources and its declarations of interest are set out in full.
The directory takes submissions now, by email to info@belleayr.com. Send a pedigree for a cat already held here that should be corrected or extended, a pedigree for a cat not yet held, or a laboratory result. A laboratory result is accepted with or without the cat's club registration record. The registration record is preferred, not required, because it is what ties a result to a named animal rather than to a sample, and a result sent without one is entered at a grade that says so. A registration record sent in is never published. It is held privately against the cat as a verifiable source, exactly as this register already holds breeder, owner and contact details, none of which appear anywhere on this site or in its data export. One photograph is held per cat.
A submission form is being built which will take the same three things for one named cat: a pedigree, a laboratory test result and one photograph. It will ask for the cattery and the document rather than for the breeder. The registration record is invited on both routes alike and withheld from publication on both alike.
Nothing is written to the register automatically. A submission is held, read against what the register already holds, and entered by hand at the grade the document supports: a pedigree makes a cat line-traced, a laboratory certificate makes it genotyped, and a photograph or a written account makes it reported. That is how every record here has arrived and how they will go on arriving.
Where this directory comes from. The register and the analysis built on it form part of The Global Cat Health Survey 2026, and they are the work of an independent researcher, Kristina Macaulay, ORCID 0009-0008-9249-8032. No registry, laboratory or breed club commissioned it or has any say in what it records.
Every figure here is computed from the documents the survey holds on the day the page is built. Nothing is typed and nothing is fixed. A pedigree or a test result sent in changes the figures on the next build, and the cat it belongs to takes its place in the trace beside the rest.
