The description held

A cat of the Solomiya cattery, blue-eyed, coded BRI ny 11 61 with no white figure of any kind. The compiler states that he has white, and the photograph supplied with him shows it on the chest, the muzzle and the feet. He is not entered as showing the trait: white is an available explanation for a blue eye and the person who can see the animal says there is white, which outweighs a code that omits it. He would otherwise have satisfied the finding 21 test on his code, and that is the point of entering him. He is the third cat in this material where a golden shaded British is coded without white and somebody who has seen it speaks to white, and the three do not agree with one another. He shares a cattery and a code with Christian Solomiya, who is Irven vom Wuerzburgerstern's sire and whom this register does count as showing the trait. No parentage is given for Cooper. A caveat on the code, added 29 AUGUST 2026 and applying to every golden shaded British cat in this register coded 61 OR 63 with no white figure. The absence of a white figure is not the absence of white on these cats. Three cats in this material have now had white spoken to by someone who has seen them, and the three do not agree: Irven vom Wuerzburgerstern and Cooper from SoloMiya are both said to have some, and Topaz Zojka is stated by his own cattery to have none, and all three carry codes with no white figure. A golden shell or shaded coat puts near-white fur on the chest, muzzle and feet by its own tipping, and the registries writing these codes do not appear to separate that from white spotting consistently. FINDING 21 rests on the code and is therefore weaker for this group than it is elsewhere, and it is not weakened where white is coded reliably, which is most of this register. No status is changed on this record by this note: a caveat is not a finding. A photograph of the whole cat, or a genotype, would settle it. S_COOPER_187 the Igor attribution on this cattery is disputed by its breeder, and this register records the dispute without resolving it. What the documents show is not in Doubt: Christian Solomiya reaches Igor by five documented parent links, through Kittystar Kyzya, Kittystar Garey, Kittystar Blue Sapphire and BG*Amur Dream, every step on a pedigree held here, and he does not reach Nikita'l Seymour at all. But the dispute may not be about descent. Two statements are in play and only one is established: That these cats descend from Igor is a pedigree fact; that they carry the Igor variant is not established and cannot be, because no variant has ever been identified in that line. Not one of the ninety-six recorded ancestors above him carries a variant and not one has been genotyped. A breeder rejecting the second is not contradicted by the first. On the compiler's ruling a breeder's own position is not overturned without a pedigree that contradicts it, and no pedigree held here contradicts the descent or establishes a variant.
