Ti'Punch d'Aerlin

prefix d'Aerlin · British Shorthair · line: Nanotigr · the source records no eye colour · Variant known, this cat untested

How this cat is connected to the trait

NO RECORDED PARENT LINK JOINS THIS CAT TO A FOUNDER OR TO A TESTED ANIMAL. What the record rests on instead is the line recorded on it, Nanotigr, which is a source's attribution and not a descent this register can walk; and a variant a source attributes to it, DBE-ALT, which this survey does not adopt; and no recorded parent at all, which is a gap in the sources and not a statement that the cat had none.

No parent is recorded for this cat in the register, so no genealogy can be drawn. That is a gap in the sources, not a statement that the cat had none. Any offspring the register holds are listed below.

What is flagged

  1. TI'PUNCH D'AERLIN. READING QUERIED. This name was transcribed from close-up images of genealogy C13 on 13 August 2026. THE HOLDER OF THAT CHART DOES NOT RECOGNISE A CAT OF THIS CATTERY IN THE NANOTIGR LINE, queried 18 August 2026. The record stands as transcribed and is marked, because a reading nobody can check is worth less than a reading somebody has challenged. THE OBSERVATION AT FINDING 26 RESTS ON THESE FOUR RECORDS AND FALLS IF THE READING IS WRONG. Cattery. THE AERLIN IS THE ONLY PREFIX IN THIS REGISTER HOLDING TWO VARIANTS, computed 18 August 2026 across 308 prefixes, of which 26 hold a named variant at all. Its seven records arrive in two bodies of material that share no cat: three on the Celeste chart out of Lazuli, carrying DBE-CEL, and four on genealogy C13, the Nanotigr line, of which Plumette d'Aerlin and Urist d'Aerlin carry DBE-ALT. THE CHART THE SECOND GROUP STANDS ON ALSO HOLDS ELEVEN ANIMALS WITH A LABORATORY RESULT, all DBE-ALT, AND NOT ONE OF THEM IS AN AERLIN CAT. What is recorded here is two variant attributions under one prefix and nothing further; IT IS NOT A LINK BETWEEN THE AERLIN AND THE IGOR LINES. NO PEDIGREE JOINS THE TWO GROUPS: searched through recorded parentage, no path runs from any Aerlin cat to a DNA-genotyped DBE-ALT cat or to the Igor group, because three of the seven carry no parent at all. A CATTERY IS NOT AN ANIMAL and no variant is moved between the two groups on this ground. ONE CATTERY UNDER TWO SPELLINGS, CONFIRMED. The English-language Celeste chart writes 'of Aerlin' and the French Nanotigr chart writes 'd'Aerlin'. The survey read them as one cattery because the Celeste chart is headed Chatterie d'Aerlin, and the holder of both charts confirmed it on 18 August 2026

A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
