Schneesternchen's Laska
Siberian · one blue eye · No variant and no line attributed · also in its ancestry: Schneesternchen
Under the variant field this directory proposes, this cat would read DBE 161p. A carrier of a variant nobody has sequenced, on no named line. This is the group bare 161 exists for. The proposal is set out in full here, and no registry issues this field today: it is computed from the record at each build and is not part of any registration.

What is flagged on this tree
SCHNEESTERNCHEN'S TOM. Panel. THE ONLY WILD-TYPE GRADE IN THIS GROUP THAT NAMES ITS PANEL, and the panel was three variants of the six now known. He stands two generations above Schneesternchen's Laska, a finding 21 cat coded 63 with no white of any kind
SCHNEESTERNCHEN'S LASKA. Descent and depth. HER MATERNAL GRANDSIRE IS A TESTED CAT. Schneesternchen's Tom, SIB a 03 23 61, is held here at sch-01 and graded wild type. A 61-coded cat that tested clear stands two generations above this 63-coded cat with no white. WHICH VARIANTS THE PANEL COVERED IS NOT RECORDED and that is what would make it readable. PawPeds prints her coefficient of inbreeding as 14.1 per cent
A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
