BigBoots Pommes
prefix BigBoots · Maine Coon · both eyes blue, and white or white spotting supplies the cause · No variant and no line attributed · also in its ancestry: DBE-RE, Pillowtalk-Foreigner
BigBoots Pommeline, MCO gs 09 22 68, the dam of BigBoots Pommes
Joyfield's Avril, MCO fs 09 68, the dam of BigBoots Pommeline
Rociri Elvis, MCO e 09 68, the sire of Joyfield's Avril. DBE-RE, adopted by this survey; a founder of this survey
That is 3 recorded parent links, and the animal at the end of it carries a variant this survey has adopted, but has not itself been tested. Every step is a parent recorded in this register from a document; none of them is an assumption. The full genealogy is drawn below, and the sources for each animal are on its own page.

What the pedigree implies
Possible carrier by descent. DBE-RE, through Joyfield's Avril, Rociri Elvis, given on the pedigree as Rociri's Elvis; the Pillowtalk-Foreigner line, no variant identified, through IC Langstteich's McDanger of Pillowtalk, Langstteich's Bella Fantastica, Langstteich's Bellissimo Blue; the Rociri Elvis line, no variant identified, through Joyfield's Avril, McCloud White Enjoy, Olmocabe's Morpheus
This is computed from the recorded parentage each time this site is built and is not typed into the register. It is a deduction from the trait being dominant, not a statement by any source, and it is not the same thing as the record's own status field. Only a laboratory settles it for an individual. The full list is on latent lines.
What is flagged on this tree
Anverscoon Grenache. Resolved. Which parent is the sire is now settled by a chart. The register previously held both of this cat's parents as dams. The PawPeds pedigree for Joyfield's Survivor van Nous Deux read 17 August 2026 places Mainefield's Oye Como va in the sire position and Aislinn's Exciting Blue in the dam position
Rociri Elvis, given on the pedigree as Rociri's Elvis. His own sheet, and what is and is not on it. Thirty ancestors, all thirty unique, four complete generations, inbreeding 0.0 PER cent. THE 68 on him is the only 68 on the whole document and the only eye code of any kind on it is the 63 on Justcoons ha Shisch, MCO w 63, a dominant white odd-eyed cat in the third generation. His grandsire Mainefield's Oye Como Va is MCO w, also white, and carries no eye code. No other animal on the sheet carries an eye code at all. That is the whole of the evidence above him: two white cats, one of them odd-eyed, and twenty-eight animals with nothing recorded about their eyes. In a white cat an eye cannot be read either way, so the sheet neither supplies a source for his 68 nor rules one out, which is why the published trace above him runs through white cats and goes cold there | tested against both new variants and excluded from both. Abitbol M, Eisele T and Lipovenko E, 'Additional PAX3 Variants for Dominant Blue Eyes in Cats', Animal Genetics 2026;57:e70199, Table 1 gives 'Rociri Elvis, 1, wild-type' for DBE-NAD and C/C for DBE-MARU. The Maine Coon variant is separate from both variants named in 2026. S_PAX3_2026_235 | where this variant sits in PAX3. A third party compilation places DBE-RE at EXON 6, a coding variant. The register records the position and does not adopt it as its own finding: a schematic on a website is not a paper, and where this register needs the science it cites the papers directly. It is recorded because it is checkable, and because the position in the gene is the one thing about these variants that a breeder can never observe and a laboratory never reports on a result sheet. Joyfield's Avril. CODED 68 by Pawpeds and MCO fs 09 by Felis danica. She stands as the dam on the Felis Danica record for BigBoots Pommeline, where she is given as '17.MCO3131.3 Joyfield's Avril MCO fs 09'. The 68 is on the PawPeds pedigree and not on the Danish one. She is one of the two daughters through which Rociri's Elvis reaches the Bigboots prefix | on the genotyped Bigboots descent. This animal stands in the dam line of BelleAyr Pluto, who is genotyped DBE-RE, between Joyfield's Avril and BigBoots Belle Azure. Four consecutive generations coded 68 ending in a tested cat, which is the strongest support this register holds for reading the BigBoots 68 as one variant descending from Rociri's Elvis | she is where the 68 and the 69 and the genotype all meet. She is coded 68 and out of Rociri's Elvis, coded 68. Her daughter Bigboots Coco Chanel is coded 69 by a sire with no code anywhere on his side. Her other descent, through Bigboots Dirty Dodge and Bigboots big t and Bigboots Belle Azure, ends in Belleayr Pluto, genotyped DBE-re. One dam, a 69 on one branch and a laboratory-confirmed DBE-RE on the other
Bigboots Pommeline. CODED 68 by one registry and not by another. PawPeds and the cattery listing both give MCO gs 09 22 68. The Felis danica record for the same animal, matched on the foreign stud book number [registration number held privately] and on both parents, gives MCO gs 09 22 and leaves the eye colour field empty. The colour, the white code and the parentage agree; the eye code does not. Neither database states an eye colour in words and neither holds a genotype
A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

Source
the PawPeds cattery listing for the BigBoots prefix, read 19 August 2026. A registry-derived list of one cattery's own-bred cats. It gives name, sex, EMS code, date of birth and a country pair, and no parents and no pedigree. The whole prefix is entered, not only the cats carrying a dominant eye code, so that the coded animals have a denominator; and the PawPeds four-generation pedigrees for Maui Dolce Blu, BigBoots Damavand P, BigBoots SnowEyes, BigBoots Pommes and BigBoots Pommeline, images supplied 19 August 2026. Each is headed with the subject's EMS code, sex, date of birth and country pair, and each states thirty ancestors of thirty possible, all unique, four complete generations out of four, INBREEDING 0.0 PER cent
This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
