Rania
Siberian · line: Siberian, Altai or Barnaul unconfirmed · the source records no eye colour · Variant not known
No recorded parent link joins this cat to a founder or to a tested animal. What the record rests on instead is the line recorded on it, Siberian, Altai or Barnaul unconfirmed, which is a source's attribution and not a descent this register can walk; and no recorded parent at all, which is a gap in the sources and not a statement that the cat had none.
No parent is recorded for this cat in the register, so no genealogy can be drawn. That is a gap in the sources, not a statement that the cat had none. Any offspring the register holds are listed below.

tabby and white. Shaded and marked 'DBE?', a query and not an attribution homozygosity in this line is stated to be lethal. Professor Marie abitbol, who identified DBE-ALT and DBE-CEL, states in her 2026 World Cat Federation presentation, on the slide headed 'Malvina line', that this is a dominant blue eye line from Russia, that it was introduced into the Siberian breed, that homozygosity is lethal, that there is no data on deafness, and that the search for the variant is ongoing. This is the researcher's statement and not this survey's finding: the presentation gives the conclusion without the underlying counts, so no number of lost kittens is claimed here. It is recorded against every animal of the line because a breeder looks up an animal and not a line. What it means in practice: mating two carriers of this determinant together is expected to lose the quarter of the litter that inherits two copies, and because those kittens do not survive to be counted, a breeder doing it may see only small litters and conclude nothing is wrong. It is a different and worse harm from the compound heterozygote this register documents elsewhere, which is white and deaf and which lives. The determinant of this line remains unidentified and this note does not attribute one. S_LETHAL_206

This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
