Genealogy trace, one printable page carrying the proposed code

Under the variant field this directory proposes, this cat would read DBE 161p. A carrier of a variant with no published allele, on no named line. This is the group bare 161 exists for. The proposal is set out in full here, and no registry issues this field today: it is computed from the record at each build and is not part of any registration.

How this cat is connected to the trait

No recorded parent link joins this cat to a founder or to a tested animal. What the record rests on instead is no recorded parent at all, which is a gap in the sources and not a statement that the cat had none.

No parent is recorded for this cat in the register, so no genealogy can be drawn. That is a gap in the sources, not a statement that the cat had none. Any offspring the register holds are listed below.

The description held
a red curly coated male, one blue eye and one green, offered on a public post of 16 October 2025. The post states the line as Shuravi, that the Ural Rex parents are of that line, that this is the second generation of Ural Rex, and that the kitten is bred from a planned cross with cats of the breeder's own line which are not Ural Rex. No variant is attributed here. The odd eye is recorded as the source gives it and the cause is not established: an outcross of a rex breed to an unnamed line is exactly the route by which a dominant blue eye has entered other breeds in this register, and it is recorded so that the question can be asked. This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
