a cat of the Xin-He Winnie line, not named in the source
prefix Winnie Cat House · Chinese domestic cat · DBE-xHW · line: Xin-He Winnie · both eyes blue, put down to a DBE variant or its line · Genotyped
Under the variant field this directory proposes, this cat would read DBE 167p. The variant is attributed to this animal from the record rather than from a result on it. The proposal is set out in full here, and no registry issues this field today: it is computed from the record at each build and is not part of any registration.
How this cat is connected to the trait
No recorded parent link joins this cat to a founder or to a tested animal. What the record rests on instead is the line recorded on it, Xin-He Winnie, which is a source's attribution and not a descent this register can walk; and a variant recorded on the animal itself, DBE-xHW; and no recorded parent at all, which is a gap in the sources and not a statement that the cat had none.
No parent is recorded for this cat in the register, so no genealogy can be drawn. That is a gap in the sources, not a statement that the cat had none. Any offspring the register holds are listed below.
What is flagged
A cat of the xin-he Winnie line, not named in the source. One caption, two photographs, and this register will not guess which is which. The slide names ONE animal, a heterozygote written N/DBE6 with the call name Taiji, and carries TWO photographs of black cats above that single caption. This register therefore holds THREE records where there may be two animals: the named heterozygote, held without a photograph, and the two photographed cats, held without names. One of the two photographed cats is very probably the named one and this register does not know which. The duplication is declared here rather than hidden by a guess, and one word from the source merges the records. This is the same rule that withdrew four photographs from this register earlier in the month: a photograph is published against the animal it is shown to be and not against the animal it is likely to be. A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

The description held
Black, with one blue eye and one amber eye, read from the photograph 13 September 2026. An odd eye on a cat of a line named for its variant, which is the same pattern this register records for DBE-ALT, DBE-CEL and DBE-re: a variant reported as giving a blue eye gives an odd eye in a share of its carriers, and a breeder who expects two blue eyes will miss carriers. No genotype for this individual is published

Source
a compiled slide on the XinHe Winnie bloodline, read 13 September 2026, carrying two photographs marked DBE 6 under a single caption. Its English text states that this is the sixth identified PAX3 mutation, identified in black domestic cats by PetGeno
This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
