By king Pride Yasmin he gives king Pride q-bert, BSH e 02 63, odd eyed. By king Pride Anabell he gives king Pride Elvis, cinnamon van with blue eyes in the cattery's own words. Two dams, two litters, two animals with eyes the sire does not show | neither offspring is evidence and the pattern is recorded anyway. Q-Bert is 02, a harlequin, and Elvis is a van. Both carry high white, so an ordinary explanation of a pale eye is available in each and this register counts neither as showing a variant. What is recorded is the sire's pattern, because an uncoded cat standing behind an odd eye and a blue eye out of two different dams is the shape a latent line takes | Elvis is filed blue-other-cause on precedent.
