The published genotyping found exactly this: of seven colourpoint cats of this line whose state could not be read, three carried the variant and four did not. His E5 litter, out of a dam with no eye code, produced two colourpoints and is equally silent. One test on him would settle all three. He has done it by three, and eleven of his nineteen recorded kittens carry an eye code or a colourpoint code that hides one. He is a colourpoint, as 11 33, which is why nothing shows on him. S_CARRIER_245 | the obligate carrier claim on this cat is withdrawn, 13 SEPTEMBER 2026. The register held that he must carry the determinant because he produced it by three different mates, none of which shows it. The rule requires mates that cannot themselves be carrying it, and two of the three can. The grade does not move: he descends from the genotyped founder by unbroken parent links through Ermine Trace Lazurit, and DBE-NAD stands on him at lineage grade on that ground alone, which is where every other traced cat of this line stands. Nothing below him changes. S_WITHDRAW_246 | the finding is restored on a different and better basis than the one withdrawn earlier today. It no longer rests on counting mates. It rests on one documented and empty pedigree. Boon Lora's own sheet returns thirty ancestors over four complete generations and not one of them carries an eye code. She is BLH ny 11 with no code of her own and no 33 to hide one, so her state is readable and she shows nothing, and nothing on her sheet reaches the Ermine Trace line. She gave four kittens by this sire and two of them are coded 68, Quatis Ermine Trace and Quila Ermine Trace. The determinant is not available from her side, so it came from his. This is the argument the register already uses on Ermine Trace Jeana and on DriveGrad Dream, and it is stronger than the mate count because it rests on what a pedigree records rather than on what a phenotype fails to show.
