Karina vom Wuerzburgerstern
prefix vom Wuerzburgerstern · British Shorthair · line: Igor · both eyes blue, put down to a DBE variant or its line · Published line, tested against the known variants and carrying none · also in its ancestry: DBE-NAD
Under the variant field this directory proposes, this cat would read DBE 161 x1p. A carrier of a variant with no published allele, on a line this proposal gives a suffix to. The proposal is set out in full here, and no registry issues this field today: it is computed from the record at each build and is not part of any registration.

Igor, BSH n 02 61, the sire of BG*Amur Dream. a founder of this survey; no variant has ever been identified in this line
That is 6 recorded parent links, and the animal at the end of it has never been tested, so the connection is a descent and not a result. Every step is a parent recorded in this register from a document; none of them is an assumption. The full genealogy is drawn below, and the sources for each animal are on its own page.

What is flagged on this tree
Kittystar blue Sapphire. Variant taken over high white, on a ruling and not on a test. This cat carries dominant white, a van, harlequin or bicolour figure, or a point figure, any of which leaves enough unpigmented iris to account for a blue eye without PAX3. It also carries a variant or stands in a DBE line, and the holder ruled on 31 August 2026 that the variant is taken as the cause in that situation. The alternative is not closed and only a genotype closes it. A photograph is better evidence of extent than a code, so where one has been read the phenotype note should be preferred to this flag. Recorded so the ruling is visible on every animal it touches and can be reversed as a set. S_VARIANT_OVER_WHITE
Flint Area Begery. Possible duplicate of kys-21 Flina Area Begery, one letter apart at the same code in the same block, and deliberately not folded. Folding two records on a spelling is how a register loses a cat. For the compiler to rule on. S_WCF_172
Infinity Jewel Cosmos golden. The Igor-group animal closest to a DBE-CEL cat on a recorded pedigree. This register already held him under the line Igor (Azure Dream). The Chubby-Moon's Terrific sheet supplied 19 August 2026 makes him that cat's great-grandsire on the sire side. Three generations separate the Igor material from an animal carrying a DBE-CEL attribution and a registry 68 CODE. He carries no eye code himself and no genotype, and neither does any animal between them
Kittystar Garey. Eye and coat, a determination and not a query. This cat is blue-eyed in both eyes, carries a bicolour or locket white code, is not dominant white and is not colourpointed. The classic white spotting gene covers an eye where the white happens to fall, which gives an odd eye and not two blue ones, so the coat does not account for this and a dominant blue eye is present in the line. It is not the KIT odd-eye case. Its registry has entered no dominant eye code on it. Which variant is not deducible from a coat code and none is adopted.
Kittystar Rafaella. Line reconciled 31 AUGUST 2026, FROM 'Azul and Igor (C15)' TO 'Pedigree ancestry, not a DBE line'. This record was pulled in as an ancestor off a Pawpeds sheet: it carries no eye code of any kind and its status is unknown. Filing it to a DBE line counted an ordinary ancestor as part of the line, which inflates the line and says something about the animal that no source says. S_LINE_RECON
Kittystar Kyzya. Line reconciled 31 AUGUST 2026, FROM 'Azul and Igor (C15)' TO 'Igor'. The old value was a chart name that put two founders in one string, so descent could not be measured against either. This cat's parentage reaches Igor and the register can show it. Nothing about the animal changed; the label stopped hiding what was already recorded. S_LINE_RECON

Christian Solomiya. Line attribution disputed by the breeder, descent documented. Five parent links join him to Igor and no variant is held for him or for any animal above him. The register records the descent, records the dispute, and adopts no variant. S_DISPUTE_192

Christian Solomiya. Code disagreement, on a white figure, between two sources from the same cattery. The register held him BSH ny 11 61. The cattery's post of 23 July 2024 writes him ny 11 08 61 and adds that he carries chocolate. AN 08 on the sire matters beyond his own record: a white figure is an ordinary route to a blue eye, and he is the sire of the 61 kittens this cattery posts. Neither reading is corrected to the other and no photograph has been read for him. S_WZS_CODE
Christian Solomiya. Eye and coat, the strongest exclusion this register can make from a code. This cat is blue-eyed in both eyes and its recorded coat carries no white spotting code at all, is not dominant white and is not colourpointed. Nothing in the coat can pale an iris. A dominant blue eye is present and it is not the KIT odd-eye case and not the white-cat case. Its registry has entered no dominant eye code on it. Which variant is not deducible from a coat code and none is adopted: a genotype or a trace to a named founder would name it.
Barby vom Wuerzburgerstern. Line. She is listed under the Azul and Igor line and her own pedigree does not support it. Four complete generations, thirty ancestors of thirty possible, carry no eye code anywhere and no cat of the Azul or Igor lines. Her ancestry is Russian and Moldovan golden and colourpoint breeding. The survey does not remove the line, because the listing may rest on a source this register does not hold, and records that the sheet does not carry it
Barby vom Wuerzburgerstern. Held back from the line reconciliation of 31 AUGUST 2026, for a ruling. By source she belongs with the pedigree ancestry pulled off the PawPeds sheets, every one of which carries no eye code. She is the one exception: her status is 'blue' and her code, BSH ny 12, carries no eye figure to support it. Moving her with the others would quietly demote a blue cat on a rule about codes she does not have. Either the status is wrong or the code is incomplete, and the survey does not choose. S_LINE_RECON
Barby vom Wuerzburgerstern. RULED 31 AUGUST 2026. The blue eye on this record has no source behind it and the status is withdrawn. Her record carried status 'blue' and eyes 'blue'. Her ONLY cited source is a PawPeds pedigree, and PawPeds does not carry eye colour; the record's own earlier flag says the sheet 'carries no eye code anywhere'. Her code, BSH ny 12, is black golden shell and holds no eye figure. Her phenotype note was EMPTY. So the register asserted a blue eye while its single source said nothing about eyes, and nothing else on the record supplied it. Status moved to 'unknown', which is what the vocabulary means: the source records no eye colour. The eyes field is cleared for the same reason, because it holds the source's words and no source said this. She links to no variant either. Ninety-one cats stand in her recorded ancestry, four complete generations, thirty of thirty on the sheet. TWO carry an eye code and both are 64, green. Not one carries a white figure. No cat of the Azul or the Igor material appears anywhere in it. And pointing would not explain her even if the eye were evidenced. Her dam, Wilma vom Wuerzburgerstern, is BSH ny 25 33 and therefore pointed, so Barby is an obligate colourpoint carrier; colourpoint runs on the sire's side too, nine of his fifty-nine recorded ancestors against fifteen of the dam's thirty. But a carrier is not blue-eyed. Colourpoint pales an iris only where the cat is homozygous, and such a cat is pointed and is coded 33. Her code carries no 33. Her attachment to this material is by mating and not by blood. She was put to Christian Solomiya, BSH ny 11 61, who does descend from Igor, and their daughter Karina vom Wuerzburgerstern, BSH ny 11 61, takes her blue eye down the sire's side. Barby contributes the mating and nothing traceable. And the cattery itself dates its programme after her. Its post of 28 September 2023 is headed 'Our first babys with a dominant gene for blue eyes'. That is the breeder saying, in writing and unprompted, that the blue eye arrived in this cattery in september 2023. Barby stands two generations above the kittens posted in October 2024 and is therefore older than the programme she was filed into. So not only is there no source for her blue eye, the cattery's own account puts her before the first blue-eyed litter it bred. Every Wuerzburgerstern cat born before 28 September 2023 falls under the same point and should be read the same way. What would restore the status. The cattery posts its blue-eyed cats publicly with the code written out, so a source could still exist: the posts give a male ny 11 08 61 born 5 May 2024, a male ny 11 61 born 15 July 2024, and Laurina and Lolita in October 2024. None of them is Barby, and no photograph of Barby has been supplied to this survey. If a post, photograph or registration for her turns up giving an eye colour, the status goes back and this flag comes off. The survey is not saying her eyes are not blue. It is saying nothing it holds says they are, and the cattery's own dating says they should not be. Four other records have the same fault and were found by the same test, a blue or odd status with no eye code, no photograph, and a PawPeds sheet as the only source: c16-09, c16-13, igs-03 and mco-06. Three of the four explain themselves in their phenotype notes and mco-06 is genotyped, so hers was the only one with an empty note and nothing at all behind the claim. S_BARBY_RULING
Karina vom Wuerzburgerstern. Finding 21, met inside the Igor line. She is BSH ny 11 61 and carries no white of any kind: no w, no 01, 02, 03, 08 or 09, and no 33 colourpoint. PawPeds codes a pointed eye separately as 67. A blue eye on this animal is therefore not attributable to dominant white, to white spotting or to the pointed gene. Her sire Christian Solomiya is coded the same way and his sire Kittystar Kyzya carries 09, so the white drops out of the code across one generation and the eye does not. This register stated earlier on 18 AUGUST 2026 that no coded cat in the Igor material was free of white. That statement was made on the sheets then held and is withdrawn. No variant is adopted: the test says what the eye is not caused by, it does not name an allele, and neither cat has been tested

A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

The description held
A caveat on the code, added 29 AUGUST 2026 and applying to every golden shaded British cat in this register coded 61 OR 63 with no white figure. The absence of a white figure is not the absence of white on these cats. Three cats in this material have now had white spoken to by someone who has seen them, and the three do not agree: Irven vom Wuerzburgerstern and Cooper from SoloMiya are both said to have some, and Topaz Zojka is stated by his own cattery to have none, and all three carry codes with no white figure. A golden shell or shaded coat puts near-white fur on the chest, muzzle and feet by its own tipping, and the registries writing these codes do not appear to separate that from white spotting consistently. FINDING 21 rests on the code and is therefore weaker for this group than it is elsewhere, and it is not weakened where white is coded reliably, which is most of this register. No status is changed on this record by this note: a caveat is not a finding. A photograph of the whole cat, or a genotype, would settle it. S_COOPER_187

This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
