Her ONLY cited source is a PawPeds pedigree, and PawPeds does not carry eye colour; the record's own earlier flag says the sheet 'carries NO EYE CODE ANYWHERE'. Her code, BSH ny 12, is black golden shell and holds no eye figure. Her phenotype note was EMPTY. So the register asserted a blue eye while its single source said nothing about eyes, and nothing else on the record supplied it. STATUS MOVED TO 'unknown', WHICH IS WHAT THE VOCABULARY MEANS: the source records no eye colour. The eyes field is cleared for the same reason, because it holds the source's words and no source said this. SHE LINKS TO NO VARIANT EITHER. That is the breeder saying, in writing and unprompted, that the blue eye ARRIVED IN THIS CATTERY IN SEPTEMBER 2023. Barby stands two generations above the kittens posted in October 2024 and is therefore older than the programme she was filed into. SO NOT ONLY IS THERE NO SOURCE FOR HER BLUE EYE, THE CATTERY'S OWN ACCOUNT PUTS HER BEFORE THE FIRST BLUE-EYED LITTER IT BRED. Every Wuerzburgerstern cat born before 28 September 2023 falls under the same point and should be read the same way. WHAT WOULD RESTORE THE STATUS. The cattery posts its blue-eyed cats publicly with the code written out, so a source could still exist: the posts give a male ny 11 08 61 born 5 May 2024, a male ny 11 61 born 15 July 2024, and Laurina and Lolita in October 2024. NONE OF THEM IS BARBY, AND NO PHOTOGRAPH OF BARBY HAS BEEN SUPPLIED TO THIS SURVEY. If a post, photograph or registration for her turns up giving an eye colour, the status goes back and this flag comes off. The survey is not saying her eyes are not blue. It is saying nothing it holds says they are, and the cattery's own dating says they should not be. FOUR OTHER RECORDS HAVE THE SAME FAULT and were found by the same test, a blue or odd status with no eye code, no photograph, and a PawPeds sheet as the only source: c16-09, c16-13, igs-03 and mco-06. Her sire Christian Solomiya is coded the same way and his sire Kittystar Kyzya carries 09, so the white drops out of the code across one generation and the eye does not.
